While four ministers were present at the inauguration, the Lebanese economy, in its industrial and commercial sectors, had a presence that has not been witnessed in a Damascus fair since 1970.
Lebanese industrialists and traders are depending on the restoration of the Lebanese and Syrian relations, mainly in terms of economy.
15 Lebanese companies, working in construction, lighting, packaging and other fields, took part in the fair and expressed optimism in the return of the commercial exchange between the two countries.
