Hariri criticizes government’s silence on north incidents
Former PM Saad Hariri stressed on Sunday that the incidents that swept through north Lebanon on Saturday where the Syrian regime’s troops killed two Lebanese citizens and injured 10 others “cannot be accepted”. Hariri considered that the government’s silence shows a complete disrespect to the life of citizens and to the sovereignty of Lebanon.

On Twitter, Hariri said that the least any government could do is file a complaint to the Syrian ambassador to Lebanon, if not to the Arab League and the United Nations.

“All the Lebanese are aware that this government has been primarily assigned to facilitate such crimes and keep silent on them”, he said.
