MP Hobeishe to LBCI: Obstacles facing Cabinet formation are internal

MP Hadi Hobeishe said on Sunday that the obstacles facing the formation of a new Cabinet are only internal, adding that the Lebanese government can not affect the regional situation whether in Syria, Yemen or elsewhere.

Hobeishe’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he said that Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri wants for all political parties to participate in the next Cabinet.

He also revealed that Hariri will carry out intensive contacts in order to come up with a Cabinet lineup.

As for the corruption ravaging the country, Hobeishe noted that some texts in the Lebanese laws protect the corrupt officials.
