Caretaker Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil stressed the importance of cooperation with the private sector, noting that this cooperation needs to be fruitful and durable, which means placing sound foundation and transparent mechanism in accordance with the reforms requested by Cedre conference.
During his meeting with a delegation from the World Bank, Hassan Khalil emphasized the need to reach a sustainable solution for the electricity sector, which has been exhausting the public funds, pointing out that the upcoming phase requires exceptional procedures to veer this issue into the right direction.
