Kataeb: We hope Cabinet performance would not be as bad as its formation process

The Kataeb party criticized on Tuesday the delay in Cabinet formation "caused by the leaders’ fight over the distribution of the ministerial portfolios among them."

"The distribution of shares which took 6 months proves that the state lost again its sovereignty and free decision," the party said during its weekly meeting chaired by MP Sami Gemayel.

The party also hoped that the performance of the new government would not be as "bad" as the formation process, because “the country would then sink in total destruction."

On another note, the party called for declaring the Mieh Mieh refugee camp in the southern town of Sidon a military region.
