Qatari donation to be used to pay civil servants, says state-run Qatar News Agency

The Palestinian finance ministry in Gaza on Friday started paying civil servants from funds donated by Qatar, the state-run Qatar News Agency said.

"The finance ministry in the Gaza Strip starts disbursing the Qatari donation to 27,000 civil servants who belong to the civilian segment," the agency said. "The salaries for the others will be paid from local revenue."
