Aoun handed report on proposals to reduce deficit

President Michel Aoun received on Tuesday at the Baabda Presidential head of the Social Economic Council Charles Arbid, Head of the Economic Committees Mohamed Choucair and President of the General Labor Confederation Bechara al-Asmar.

President Aoun was handed a report on proposals to reduce deficit and control public finances.

The proposals were approved by representatives of political parties for economic affairs.

Aoun also received a delegation from the union of importers and exporters of vegetables and fruits in Lebanon.

Among Baabda’s visitors also were former Minister Karim Pakradonian and former MP Walid Khoury.
