Lebanese man sentenced to 1 year in prison for tattooing Saudi women
A Saudi court sentenced a Lebanese national, known as “King of tattoos”, to one year in prison and 200 lashes, on charges of tattooing Saudi women and using creams to enlarge their breasts and remove blackness from the knees, “Al-Madina” newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The newspaper stated that Jeddah court also decided to impose a fine on the Lebanese man and to confiscate his cellphone. Meanwhile, the public prosecutor is seeking to file an appeal with the Court of Appeal while the Lebanese national was apparently convinced of the verdict pronounced against him.

The daily noted that the “King of tattoo” was arrested by the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, while carrying a bag containing cosmetic creams.

The newspaper said that the convicted man denied using these materials in Saudi Arabia. However, the convict made conflicting statements during the interrogation as messages were found on his cellphone revealing that he had visited Saudi women in their houses and gave them tattoos.
