MP Jamil al-Sayyeb said Sunday that “Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri did not take into consideration Wahhab’s apology and decided to prosecute him,” stressing that State Prosecutor Judge Samir Hammoud made mistakes on several levels.
“The state prosecutor wanted to humiliate Wahhab in his way,” he added.
In a statement to LBCI, al-Sayyed stressed that the case will end by Wahhab presenting himself at Hammoud’s office, who in turn will appoint a judge to follow up on the case.
