MP Faisal Karami declared that they are waiting for the results of the complete investigations into the killing of Wiam Wahhab’s bodyguard, Mohammad Abou Diab, adding that the political justifications and leaks are no longer enough.
After offering condolences in al-Jahilieh, Karami stressed that everyone is under the law and under the judiciary.
On another note, the MP emphasized that all the parties must realize that Lebanon is in need for stability, calling on the political class to assume its responsibility and accept and respect the results of the elections.
On the issue of the cabinet formation, Karami said that they have demanded their right to a minister in a national unity cabinet but did not request a specific portfolio, noting however, that today they are insisting on this demand and do want a portfolio.
