After caretaker Finance Minister said that there had been employments in the public sector during the year 2018, exceeding 5000 jobs, which burdens the treasury, and after the parties started exchanging accusations in this regard, some pointed at the military corps, in particular the Lebanese Armed Forces.
In this regard, sources from the army command told LBCI that the command, within the framework of transparency, is about to return to the state’s treasury an amount of LBP 20 billion at the end of the year; which proves these accusations to be wrong.
