Bassil “won’t engage in dialogue with those who occupy EDL”
Energy Minister Gebran Bassil confirmed on Thursday that all that he does ‪ is for "the preservation of the EDL and the government”.

During a press conference, Bassil stressed that he will not meet or converse with “those who have occupied or hurt the EDL in anyway”.

Bassil pointed out that there is an orchestrated plan to destabilize public facilities in the country, accusing the bill collectors of obstructing the law by keeping public funds.

“Article 342 stipulates that any person(s) who obstruct the work of a public facility via protests can be taken to prison” he warned.

The energy minister stressed that he cannot develop the ‪EDL and overhaul its facilities "so long as enough credit cannot be garnered for the institution".
