Deputies of Consultative Gathering say stance unified

Deputies of the “Consultative Gathering” held on Friday a meeting to pick a name that would represent them in the new Cabinet.

This as Jihad al-Samad, one of the MPs, asserted that the stance of the “Consultative Gathering” is unified.

For his part, MP Faisal Karameh denied that the Cabinet formation process was waiting for his return from London.

Karameh stressed that the Gathering is committed to President Michel Aoun’s initiativ.

He also said that the government can be formed within an hour if everyone’s "wills are clear."

“We submitted four names including Jawad Adra's name. If President Aoun agrees on Adra, he will be the representative of the Gathering in the new Cabinet.”
