Beirut-bound Iraqi plane survives Israeli aggression

The reports issued by Russia's Ministry of Defense on Wednesday stating that an Israeli missile strikes in Syria the previous day had directly threatened two civilian flights were joined by a Lebanese confirmation from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport.

During the Israeli aggression implemented between 9:45 pm and 10:45 pm on Tuesday night, and during which the Israeli jets violated the Lebanese airspace to launch its missiles into Syria, the Israeli aviation jammed as usual the Syrian radar systems, which caused a jamming of the civil aviation GPS, which in turn causes the passenger planes to deviate from its course, raising the risk for collision with other planes or for being hit by missiles launched from air of land.

Sources told LBCI that this nearly occurred to two planes bound to Arab states, one of which bound to Beirut and belongs to the Iraqi airways that was preparing to land.
