Before the end of the year, MP Ziad Assouad decided to launch a battle on Twitter, where he went on tweeting individually, accusing the Finance Ministry of being behind all “mafias and bribery schemes against Christian companies.”
The Finance Ministry quickly issued a statement, declaring that the ministry and the minister will address the Justice Minister and the Financial Public Prosecution to launch an investigation into the deputy’s claims and lies, calling on his political and partisan leadership to dare him to present any credible information supporting his allegations.
The statement also prompted Assaouad to respond in turn.
