During a discussion with the reporters after his meeting with Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri at Beit al-Wasat, caretaker Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil said that “the idea to hold a cabinet session to approve the budget is not a challenge for anyone,” noting that they are not on a dispute with Hariri, but the matter requires further discussion.
The minister said that “if the cabinet formation gets delayed one more month, some ministries might lack funds and will be forced to seek means to ensure these funds.”
