Weather makes situation even worse for Syrian refugees
The winter storm that brought rain and snow on Lebanon in the past two days has compounded the misery of the millions of Syrians displaced by their country’s civil war.

The strong winds, heavy rains and blankets of snow have hit encampments in Akkar, collapsing tents and leaving refugees shivering in the cold.
