The Arab League stressed that it does not have any intention to postpone the Arab Economic and Social Development Summit scheduled to be held in Beirut on January 20.
The league stated that any request to delay the summit must come from the Lebanese government, through the Foreign Ministry, which did not take place, adding that the ongoing debate in Lebanon over inviting Libya and its participation in the summit is a Lebanese debate that does not concern the Arab League.
