Araji to LBCI: When tension in Syria eases, influx of Syrian refugees will increase

MP Issam Araji announced on Sunday that the soaring number of Syrian refugees crossing into Lebanon is due to the short distance between Damascus and the Bekaa, adding that 6, 800 refugees entered Lebanon on Saturday.

Araji told Nharkom Said TV show that when tension in Syria eases, the influx of Syrian refugees will increase.

In his concluding remarks, Araji said that the cabinet did not make any move to help the refugees, calling on the government to draw up a relief plan in this regard.
