Hollande condemns latest surge in violence in Iraq

French President Francois Hollande condemned on Tuesday the latest surge in violence in Iraq and urged unity to fight violence and terrorism.

“I address my condolences to Iraqi people and to the families of the victims and I express the solidarity of France with the Iraqi authorities and their fight against terrorism”, Hollande stated.
