President Michel Aoun met Thursday at Baabda presidential palace with President of the Higher Judicial Council, Judge Jean Fahd and discussed with him ongoing preparations for the conference which President Aoun intends to call for at the end of February, to discuss the situation of justice and the judiciary in order to enhance the citizen's confidence in this sector.
Judge Fahd also briefed the president on the arrangements for the first centennial of the Court of Cassation, in which Arab and international figures will participate.
He also tackled the situation of the palaces of justice, mainly the project related to establishing a Justice Palace in the region of Keserwan-Jbeil.
