Jumblatt criticizes PM Hariri, FM Bassil

Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt criticized on Sunday Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Foreign Affairs Minister Gebran Bassil.

Jumblatt said that the premiership "is nearly absent," adding that “as if Bassil placed the headlines for the Cabinet’s policy statement and the upcoming period.

“This violates the Taef accord,” he added.

“We will not give up on protecting the Syrian refugees,” he stressed answering a question.

On another note, the PSP leader stressed that he will not withdraw his ministers from the Cabinet, adding that they will take charge of the files entrusted to them.

As for the NewTV channel, Jumblatt stressed that he will file a lawsuit against the channel.
