What secrets Uri Blau's documents reveal about the Israeli army?

The journalist Uri Blau turned from a media star into a criminal for possessing classified information about Israeli army.

The Israeli judiciary bowed to the dictates of the intelligence, especially that Blau could not resist pressures, confessed and reached an agreement with the prosecutors. Under the deal, Blau will serve 4 months of community service.

In this context, Blau explained that “it would have been better for everyone to refrain from reaching this situation and taking such decision, because at this end, all the journalists will be affected”.

Following the issuance of the verdict, the case marked a major decline in the Israeli democracy during Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.

Among the major secrets revealed by Blau’s documents were assassinations targeting Palestinian activists and secret army plans.
