The Telecommunications sector in Lebanon is one of the most important sectors and guarantees for the state’s treasury revenues worth of $1.7 billion.
The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, which was stipulated in the law 431 issued in 2002, was formed in February 2007 and the mandate of its members ended in 2012, without being extended or renewed, due to lack of political agreement.
