Rifi: Reconciliation with Hariri is a stand against those who accuse our sect of corruption

Former Minister Ashraf Rifi stressed that the reconciliation with PM Saad Hariri is more important than a parliamentary seat, noting that “it stands against those who accuse our sect of corruption after accusing us of terrorism.”

Addressing Hariri, Rifi said: “We reconciled with a mutual intention to turn over a page that cost everyone a high price; our relations today are built on honesty.”

In a press conference, Rifi noted that whoever wishes to fight corruption must not undermine the state and its institutions, including the judiciary.

“I call for uncovering Hezbollah’s corruption and the parties protecting them and I call on the judiciary to handle the corruption cases and as a Lebanese citizen, I will do my best to reveal this corruption,” he urged.
