Patriarch Rai officiates Sunday mass at Bkerke

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai praised on Sunday the work of the Lebanese Customs and security apparatuses in combating drugs, calling on officials to support them in their mission.

Rai’s comments were made during his Sunday’s sermon at Bkerke whereby he condemned the terrorist attack that killed 50 people and wounded others during the Friday prayers in New Zealand.

He also condemned the reactions on the attack, calling for spreading the language of peace and love in the world and dealing with the issues with justice and awareness."
