Culture Minister returns to Beirut after holding talks with Saudi counterpart in Riyadh

Minister of Culture Mohammad Daoud Daoud returned Friday to Beirut, coming from the Saudi capital where he'd been on a two-day official visit.

In Riyadh, Daoud held talks with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Farhan Al Saud, in presence of Lebanon's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Fawzi Kabbara.

The pair discussed means to boost the bilateral cooperation at the educational level by devising a two-pronged plan to activate the education sector in the two countries.

Daoud's visit came upon his Saudi counterpart's invitation to participate in the launching ceremony of the National Culture Strategy in Saudi Arabia, at King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture.
