Nizar Zakka’s son meets US Secretary Pompeo

Omar Zakka, the youngest son of Nizar Zakka, a Lebanese national detained in Iran and permanent US resident, met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the US State Department.

Zakka thanked the US for the efforts deployed to free his father. He also explained to Secretary Pompeo the circumstances of his father’s detention.

“I am confident if Lebanon carried out is duties, my father would be home,” he said.
