Speaker Berri continues official visit to Iraq

Speaker Nabih Berri continued on Thursday his official visit to Iraq, whereby he met with senior Iraqi officials.

This as Berri met first with former Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, who hailed the bilateral relations and Berri's important role at the Lebanese and Arab levels.

He also held talks with former Prime Minister, head of the "State of Law Alliance" Nouri al-Malaki, with talks reportedly featuring high on the general situation.

Berri also met with head of the "Kurdistan Democratic Union" bloc Fayyan Al-Qadi, former Iraqi Speaker Selim al-Jabbouri, and "Kurdistan National Union" bloc member Harim Kamal.
