Environment Minister Fadi Jreissati met Tuesday with US Ambassador to Lebanon Elizabeth Richard, where they discussed the bilateral ties and means to cooperate on the environmental level between Beirut and Washington.
Jreissati briefed Ambassador Richard on the Ministry's plans on the integrated management of waste and quarries, as well as anti-pollution.
The minister also briefed the US Ambassador on the negative impact of the Syrian displacement crisis on environment.
