Hajj Hassan: current cabinet preserved Lebanon’s stability
Agriculture Minister, Hussein Hajj Hassan, defended current cabinet and army against hate campaigns by the opposition, accusing them of double-standards and attempts to weaken the state and military institution.

Speaking during an Iftar in the southern village of Bint Jbeil, the Minister lauded the work of the cabinet which has successfully safeguarded Lebanon from regional events, and exercised great patience in dealing with attacks on its domestic work.

"This cabinet which they are trying to turn the world against, and despite its shortcomings, has preserved the stability of the country, and is far better than an amputated government which has long separated between Lebanese."

Hajj Hassan asserted that the state was keen on defending Lebanon, unlike factions of March 14 Camp who were "blinded by their project and sectarian rhetoric."
