A coffin carrying the body of the child Daniel al-Alali, who was found dead a few days ago in one of the refugee camps in the city of Antwerp in north Belgium, arrived Wednesday morning to Beirut International Airport.
The child’s father Mohammad al-Alali called on the Lebanese authorities to send a mission to Belgium in order to follow up on the circumstances of the crime, urging the Belgiuan government and the public opinion “to do justice by his son and hold accountable those who killed him.”
In turn, Future Movement Secretary General Ahmad al-Hariri said that the Belgian authorities are serious in uncovering the circumstances of the crime, noting that Prime Minister Saad Hariri will follow up on the case with the concerned Belgian authorities.
