Syndicate of Banque du Liban employees declares open-ended strike
The syndicate of Banque du Liban employees asserted on Saturday that it took the decision of declaring an open-ended strike until authorities backtrack on their “unfair” decisions.
 
The strike comes to protest the government’s possible plans to reduce their salaries and benefits in its new Budget.
 
The employees vowed escalation “to the fullest extent,” adding that BDL Governor Riyad Salameh has nothing to do with the strike.
