Bassil from Ghazir: It will not be difficult for us to address the economic crisis

Free Patriotic Movement chief Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil started his tour in the district of Keserwan on Sunday.

Speaking from the town of Gazhir, Bassil said that "it will not be difficult to address the economic crisis despite the bad intentions internally and externally.”

"Internal intentions are linked to corruption and the acquisition of the state's profits, while foreign intentions are aimed at linking Lebanon and its religion to projects and deals to weaken us and subjugate us," he added.

He also participated in a mass at St. Anthony Monastery, the headquarters of the Lebanese Maronite Order.

Bassil had visited the municipal building in Ghazir, accompanied by Energy Minister Nada Boustany, MP Roger Azar and President’s Advisor for architectural affairs Antoun Said.
