Al-Jarrah: Cabinet keen on preserving allocations granted to associations that help the citizens

Information Minister Jamal al-Jarrah stressed that the cabinet is keen on avoiding any measure that affects the allocations dedicated to the serious associations helping the citizens, like the Children’s Cancer Center, the Lebanese Red Cross and Caritas, noting that allocations of other associations have been reduced by 10 to 15%.

He also explained that the government will continue the budget discussions in a session that will be held on Tuesday at noon, pointing out that “additional proposals and economic reforms will be presented and the finance minister will submit a summary of what has been reached so far.”

As for the measure number 3, al-Jarrah stressed that his measure was issued to confront the Israeli enemy, adding that the defense and interior ministers will be in charge to taking measures for the other regions.
