Information and Telecommunication Committee head, MP Hussein Hajj Hassan revealed that there is political intervention in the telecom sector by a number of ministers to cancel tenders and grant the contracts to other companies without conducting a tender, noting that these contracts are worth millions of dollars.
During a press conference discussing the issue of the mobile, the MP said that he requested from the concerned companies and the Telecom Minister Mohammad Choucair to address this issue.
