In coordination with the Labor Ministry, the union of syndicates of hotel and restaurant employees called through their website anyone who needs a job to apply, in an attempt to force the owners to replace all foreign workers with Lebanese.
The main targets from this initiative are the Syrian refugees illegally working, whose number is far larger than foreign employees of other nationalities.
