Fatfat to LBCI: Lawsuit against Mamlouk is a direct accusation against Assad

MP Ahmad Fatfat said that the discovery of the explosions that former Minister Michel Samaha was intending to utilize in north Lebanon "is the only truth today", adding that the entire case file is now complete before the Lebanese judiciary.

Fatfat told Nharkom Said that the lawsuit filed against Syrian Major General Ali Mamlouk in the case of Samaha is a direct accusation against the Syrian security services and President Bashar Assad personally.

Fatfat said that the Syrian regime "no longer trust its field agents, thus now resorts to close contacts such as the likes of Michel Samaha for field operations".

Fatfat pointed out that Hezbollah has no interest in provoking a strife in Lebanon “since it would backfire”.
