Minister Hassan presides security meeting in Tripoli

Minister of Interior Rayya al-Hassan presided on Friday a security meeting at the Tripoli Serail, as part of her periodic meetings with Internal Security Forces chief Major General Imad Othman.

Hassan was briefed about the series of security measures taken in the northern city and the problems that Tripoli is facing, mainly the traffic jam, the crowded prisons, and the spread of drugs and domestic violence.

The minister gave her directives in order to facilitate the life of the northern citizens so "they restore their confidence in the state," as well asto attract more tourists to the city.
