Mikati meets with Abbas in Jeddah

The Egyptian Acharq al-Awsat news agency quoted Palestinian news source Wafa as saying that Palestinian authority chief Mahmoud Abbas received Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati at his residence in Jeddah. They reportedly discussed the Lebanese-Palestinian bilateral relations as well as the peace process and the latest regional developments.

It is noteworthy that during their visit to Saudi Arabia, “Abou Mazen” and Mikati will participate in the Extraordinary Islamic Summit that will be held on Tuesday in Mecca.
