Lebanese diplomacy on the move following incident with Lebanese nationals in Kazakhstan

The Lebanese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Giskard Khoury headed to the city of Atyrau, to which the Lebanese nationals were evacuated after a brawl broke out between foreign and local employees.

The ambassador will meet with the Lebanese nationals, listen to their needs and provide them with the necessary documents and logistics to be able to return to Lebanon.

The Kazakh authorities said that “the situation has calmed at a construction site in western Kazakhstan where at least 10 Lebanese nationals suffered injuries in a violent brawl over the weekend.”
