Retired officer found unconscious after being severely beaten

The Internal Security Forces in Beirut received information on Wednesday about a person who was severely beaten in an apartment in al-Nabaa locality in Salim al-Hajj building. The victim was identified as retired officer Michel Nadra Rizk.

An ISF patrol rushed to the scene where Rizk was found unconscious and was immediately taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Dora.

The investigations conducted in the case revealed that the offender is a Syrian national who escaped after beating the officer.
