After reports emerged stating that member of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Nawaf al-Moussawi stormed into the Damour police station at midnight on Saturday and opened fire at a young man inside the station, LBCI acquired a letter directed from the head of the Damour unit Col. Joseph Ghanoum to ISF Director General explaining the events that took place.
The letter stated that MP Nawaf al-Moussawi arrived to the station accompanied by 20 gunmen and attempted to storm in, but the security forces prevented them from entering and worked on calming down al-Moussawi who was very upset.
