MP Talouzian from central Beirut: Targeting the rights of the military personnel is forbidden

MP Jean Talouzian stressed that “targeting the rights of the military personnel is not allowed.”

Speaking from the sit-in staged in downtown Beirut, he told LBCI that they seek to impose a reduction to the wages of the military personnel without putting an end to the waste of public funds.

For his part, retired Brig. Gen. George Nader said that they will not storm into any building or prevent anyone from passing, pointing out that the movement depends on the response of the deputies to their demands.

“If they were not responsive, we will continue our movements in the coming days,” he added.
