Head of the Progressive Socialist Party Walid Jumblatt praised Tuesday the efforts deployed by French President Emmanuel Macron in an attempt to bring together US and Iranian presidents.
In a post on his Twitter account, Jumblatt wrote: “There is no doubt that the efforts of French President Macron during Biarritz Summit are of utmost political brilliance and we hope he succeeds in his attempt to bring together US and Iranian presidents above all obstacles in order to prevent the region from being dragged into destructive wars and to curb extremists from all sides and states from raising tension; to avoid chaos and uncertainty.”
