A huge fire erupted in al-Safira – Taran – Btermaz forest, which is considered the largest pine forest in the Middle East and the “lung of al-Donnieh and North Lebanon.”
The fire broke out in the middle of the forest where the firefighter vehicles cannot reach.
The concerned parties urged the fast intervention of the army choppers.
