Army Command Statement on Tripoli
The LAF Army Command announced on Wednesday that contrary to what has been said, its forces did not withdraw from Tripoli’s clash zone, adding that it is in the midst of implementing a military plan to instrument a complete ceasefire and respond to sources of gunfire.              

In a statement, the LAF command called on political leaders not to interfere in what is happening on the ground, and not contribute to raising disputes.                    
The leadership announced that it would hold direct talks with leaders of armed groups in the field, especially in Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen, in order to bury sedition and defuse the explosive situation.
