Protesters demonstrate country’s economic crisis

Protesters gathered on Sunday in the Martyrs’ Square to protest the country’s economic crisis.

The demonstrators then headed to the Grand Serail where they briefly scuffled with the security forces.

Several other protests were held across the country where roads wee partially or completely cut.

Later in the day, the state-run National News Agency reported that one of the protesters was arrested by the security forces.
