Abou Faour calls on Lebanese citizens to be a bit optimistic, says situation not as bad as circulated ​​​​​

President Michel Aoun met on Wednesday with Industry Minister Wael Abou Faour and a delegation from the Association of Lebanese Industrialists, at Baabda presidential palace where they discussed the situation and the demands of the industry sector.

 

Following the meeting, Abou Faour noted that he presented to the president the outcome of the first industrial survey that revealed that there are 3850 jobs for the Lebanese youth in the sector, pointing out that a number of measures taken by the government have been implemented starting last week, including the prioritization of the Lebanese products.

 

While stressing that the industry can lift the national economy and a creator of new jobs, Abou Faour called on the Lebanese people to show a bit of optimism, “since the situation is not as negative as being circulated.”
