Lahoud to LBCI: Lebanon must apply principle of reciprocity with other countries in agriculture

General Director of the Ministry of Agriculture Louis Lahoud urged on Thursday the Lebanese expatriates to start marketing the Lebanese products.

Lahoud’s comments were made during an interview with LBCI’s Nharkom Said TV show whereby he stressed importance that Lebanon to apply the principle of reciprocity with other countries in the agricultural dossier.

He also declared that the first Sunday of each October will be the national day for Lebanese apples in order to start marketing them across Lebanon.

This as Lahoud concluded by saying that fees for land transport are high on the Syrian and Jordanian borders.
